First of the year.
Time to reflect and ponder shat I learned over the past year.
Well, I have found a passion in fishing. Salmon fishing mostly, and now that has tranferred over to Steelheadin’. WHAT A BLAST!!!! Olympic Peninsula and coastal rivers mostly, some on the Skagit and Green River south of Auburn.
I have caught around 25 fish this year, keeping three steelhead weighing 6.8 lbs., 7.3 lbs., & 6.9 and tons of pinks all around 8-10lbs. . All weights of steelies were after gutting and two had roe, which I learned to cure. Good grilled and smoked!
Typical setup was float fishing with jig/shrimp or cheater & roe. Those corkies are money! Most hit on pink or pink/white combo. No spinners.
There we go. Gotta try toget online more, maybe then someone will see this…
TIGHT LINES!!!
